Elliot Bassett...Is Retired!?

Yup...RETIRED!! Guessing he will coach full time and train almost full time. He is really good at both. Given that - he has earned the January NRO rider of the month.
Watch out for Elliot this year....oh yeah...he will be there.

About Elliot:

When was the first time you knew you had bike fever? :Spring Break 2005. Put in 4 days in a row over 100 miles. Best weather I had the whole time was 50 and a light drizzle.

Most memorable race?:State road race. 2009. I blew it at the end, but it was fun.

Most memorable/favorite ride?:West Glacier around the south end of the park and back to west glacier.

Favorite bike?:My first road bike. My current fixed gear commuter. The rainbow warrior. It's a 1999 Marin Argenta. It's seen a lot of use.

What inspires you?:Getting better. Seeing what I'm capable of.

Who inspires you?:Anyone who works really hard in relative obscurity.

Tell us something we don't know...!!!:I got lost in my first bike race.
