Montana Cycling Teams Step Up Race Promotion

There is a good buzz surrounding the Montana road season for 2009. Part of the reason is some new events. There's two in particular that I've heard about. Most of you know that Northern Rockies wants to put on a Missoula Downtown Crit in mid-summer. We are close to locking a date down and getting the planning underway. I'm also happy to announce that GAS Instrinsik is putting on the inaugural Bozeman Stage Race. This will include a road race, time trial, and crit (with some fun activities). The crit will be in downtown Bozeman.

Both these races will be welcome additions to the Montana calendar.

Reminder: Team meeting on Monday at Tamara's. 6pm trainer ride, followed by meeting and snacks.

Team Meeting

Tamara will be hosting a team meeting February 2nd after the trainer ride. Beer and snacks will be provided.

The meeting will consist of sponsorship talks, and race schedules.

Winter Training Begins

With the crazy inversion this weekend, several riders traveled east of town and expected great weather. Group rides formed on both days. I rode Sunday and was surprised to see 10-12 hardy road riders. Great fun. The meeting time is 1pm and the place is La Petite. Hope to see you out.
