Jacobson-Schutte Racing is a USAC bike racing team based in Missoula that competes in Montana, Northwest region and National races. The team's name comes from it's title sponsor: Dr Justin Jacobson and Dr. Mike Schutte. Both of Northern Rockies Orthopedic. Currently there are 30 riders on the team ranging from Pro Cat 1 men to entry level Cat 5's. JS Racing is committed to racing at a competitve level as well as promoting USAC races, events, training races, team training rides, and development clinics.

Last Trainer Sessions of the Winter!!

Come join us for the last two trainer sessions of the winter....Wednesdays @ 6:30 (show up anytime after 6:15) at the Pony Place Sauna!! Everyone welcome...NRO or not. If you need directions - email tamarabessette@msn.com

HELL RIDE: Kicks off on March 3rd, 5:30 from Open Road. The first ride will be a warm-up for the weeks to follow. Due to lack of daylight...it will be a short loop. The first ride will also be a "kinder" version as to introduce the ride to newcomers. Starting March 10th.... normal Hell Ride pace!!! Oh the pain!!!

Sunday Riding or Hiding

Sunday was a great group ride to Alberton. There was a group of 15-20 that made the journey. The group was destined for Alberton from the beginning. No one turned around. It was excellent. The sun was out and the legs were spinning. The ride was highlighted by a nice stop in Alberton, Elliot turning the screws to everyone and their mother, and lots of riders making the trip for their first time. Several NRO riders were out including T-magic, Bad Blair, Stevie Z, and Nacho...just to name a few. Also out were UM Captains Bryce and Jdunph. UM Tri was in full force with Josh, Agner, and Jon. Props to Kipper and Ivy for making the trip. It was great riding with everyone. As long as the weather stays decent folks will continue to meet at 11am at Le Petite. No one gets left behind in the early season.

Northern Rockies Rides Felt as Open Road Steps Up

Open Road Bicycles and Nordic has stepped up to the plate. Northern Rockies Cycling Team proudly announces that Open Road Bicycles and Nordic has come on as a major sponsor. The relationship with Open Road and the team has always been good, but now it's better then ever. In conjunction with Open Road, NRO riders will have the opportunity to ride Felt Bicycles.
